The earth does not belong to men…men belong to the earth!

Facing the climate calamity, Rainbow Children Live International sees the need to establish a glo-bal non governmental, non religious and nonprofit Organization in order to finance school lessons for active Environmental Protection and the devel opment of ecological consciousness and environ-mental education of school children and the need of promoting private scholarships between schools and school children of “rich developed” and "poor developing” countries on our planet.
We cannot wait until the governments maybe provide lessons for environmental protection !
Up to 10% of the school children of the sponsored schools shall receive scholarships under the crite- rion of being brilliant students and at least 12 years of age. They shall receive scholarships until university degree.
In the Rainbow Pyramid Promotion the monthly scholarship obligation for each school child is € 90,--. The monthly sponsorship from schools for schools is € 100,-- and the monthly sponsorship for schools from companies is € 100,--.
Unique is that for all sponsored children shall be installed Bank Savings Accounts, for which only
the mothers together with the school directors shall have the right of signature.
Transparency of the money flow of the sponsor-ships / scholarships is guaranteed. The sponsors have the right to control at any time the balance of the individual savings accounts of their sponsored school children and schools by fax, mail, video-phone or similar media.
Included in the monthly obligations for the scholar-/sponsorships are the guaranteed administration costs in the giving and in the receiving countries together for schools 5%, for companies 10% and for school children 5,5% of the scholarships.
Half of the scholarship will be given to the schools to finance environmental lessons, the other half re-mains to the parents of the children for the needs of their families.
Corresponding to the 4-R”Mottainai” concept of the Greenbelt Movement of Prof.W.Maathai:”Reuse
materials, Reduce consumption, Recycle waste,
Respect of resources”, the sponsored schools and school children in the “developing” countries receive ecological lessons by teachers of Greenpeace, WWF and similar NGO´s or by qualified school
teachers and are doing as well active environmental protection such as:
Waste Separation Control, etc., Reforestation ( planting trees, bushes, prevention of cutting trees, etc. ), Renaturation of biotopes ( cleaning lakes, creeks, rivers, etc. ) and other environmental activities.
The sponsored Rainbow School Children have of course to attend the theoretical and active less-ons in form of “clubs” outside of the normal curri-culum. All other school children may attend the lessons voluntarily.
In each country we have 3 pilot schools ( Seconda- ry or High Schools ), 2 girls’ schools and 1 boys’ school, or 60% girls and 40% boys in mixed schools, which will be supervised by our local national partners “Rainbow Children Live” non profit associations.
Our Rainbow Schools worldwide support the UNEP - TUNZA programs (www.unep.org/tunza) from the United Nations. And UNEP provides our Rainbow Schools with education material. Our Rainbow Children communicate and make friends with each other via our community web rainbow-children.net and Internet video-phone.
Besides of our Environmental Program, we support with our Charity Program in each country Aids-Orphans and Orphanages as well as schools for homeless street children and ask for them for generous donations.
Our spiritual content is the perception of nature and our “Mother Earth” as this of the indigenious North-American native peoples. We believe that we have to change our consciousness regarding to our Way of Life (traffic, consumption, nutrition: not to support the needs of the food industries, but the needs of our bodies ) and to clean our minds spiritually, if our children’s children shall survive.
Only if our minds are clean, our bodies, clothes, our houses and our environment shall be clean.
